probably the most he's spoken on stage in recent years!. and it was a damn good heartfelt version.

thanks, didn't know that...just heard and saw it at youtube, nice...and bob on keyboards...

i'm glad the wilburys collaboration happened, it gave me some chuckles and i'm sure lynne, bob, george and petty (roy too) had some hoots along that journey...i thought bob sounded in good form for his vereses in this one and george and lynne's bridge harmony at 2:00 is so rich

Anonymity is like a sacred treasure when one is in absolutely no mood or doesn't have the time with what would then be a annoyance to have to contend with people -not only strangers, but sometimes even friends/associates.

When Paul Newman was recognized when he was out and about, and he'd often have his shades on, people would ask him to remove them so they could see his eyes. His response, "if I take them off, my pants will fall down."

Yeah, for Gord to be recognizable some 30 years after his apex of popularity would be a feat. Wasn't he too recognizable by that bat who darn near conked him over the head with her pictures for signatures (to sell, no doubt)?
