Has anyone noticed that whoever is singing backup as Summertime Dream fades out sings something that is supposed to say 'Summertime dream' but it sounds to me like some other word(s)- I don't have the faintest idea what they are. Could it be Canadian accents that I don't get? Anyone hear this?

Yeah, Elizabeth! I'm always trying to figure it out.

Not a Canadian accent thing though http://www.corfid.com/ubb/wink.gif
It sounds kind of like "summer shop dreams" to me.

I believe the backup vocals are merely vocalizing, "Summer sha-hum". It's just supposed to "sound right" not make any particular sense.

Borderstone you may be right. It certainlyl sounds like the words you said. But it doesn't make a lot of sense - why 'summer shot breeze'? Thanks all for your thoughts on this.

Elizabeth,I can only say that's what it sounds like to me. I have no deeper reason or defenition as to why they would say that. http://www.corfid.com/ubb/confused.gif

Other than maybe it's sort of what Seals and Crofts said in the song,"Summer Breeze".

"Summer breeze,makes me feel fine,
blowin' away the Jasmine in my mind."

I think that could be it. http://www.corfid.com/ubb/smile.gif
