Not sure if this is going to the 'favorite song' section or not, but I love the Canadian RR Trilogy. I think it's a great Saturday morning, sipping on a cup of coffee song. And, when I was growing up my dad worked for Southern Railway. So I have train memories as well.

Hi Calliope and welcome to the forum. Now it is easy for those of us who regularly post here to say Oops!! Because far from adding this to one of the existing favo(u)rite song topics you presumably hit the link either the top or the bottom [IMG]http://www.corfid.com/ubb/topic5.jpg[IMG] instead of going to an open topic then selecting the other link at the bottom http://www.corfid.com/ubb/reply5.jpg But don't let that minor bit of beginner's bad luck put you off come back and register Why register?? well as I recently emphasized here being a member has several advantages as I said in another topic:- "one tip: I noted that so far you are unregistered. but there are a few advantages to comitting yourself as a member 1. if you make a mess of a posting you can (but only if registered) edit or even delete it 2. you can when starting a new topic check/tick the little box and then the efficient and friendly corfid webmaster will send you an email whenever anybody replies to that topic 3. you can create a signature that (at your option) will appear at the end of every posting 4. if you cough up your email address in your member's profle other fans can email you if they feel like telling you something off the forum (other non-members reading this please take note." so Calliope although you do not have to register you should in any case try again Pick any topic that grabs your fancy and fire away John Fowles P.S. I wondered where I had heard your nickname before then the penny dropped. Of course it was the original record label that started the Everly Brothers off before they moved about ten years before Gordon to Warner Brothers [This message has been edited by johnfowles (edited February 04, 2005).] |

Mine would probably be Same Old Loverman and Carefree Highway. At least that's what they are today. http://www.corfid.com/ubb/wink.gif
