which album can the rearranged version of the way I feel be found on?

You'll never guess but it is on the 1967 United Artists album simply entitled "The way I feel"

this is also shown elsewhere on corfid in fact
The rearranged version no doubt also appears on countless UA regurgitations/compilations but the version on the"songbook" box set/anthology is the original from the1966 album Lightfoot!

Acually,the firs :rolleyes: :redface: t verion has all acoustic instruments in it,while the second version has
newcomers John Stockfish on Electric Bass
and The Awesome Red Shea on that weird Electric Guitar with the tremelo.

That album is available seperately on it's own CD,or you can find it among the United Artists 4 in "The UA Collection".

I know it's not included in "Songbook" and I don't recall it being on any of the many "Best Of's" collections in the 70s.

I like that version but I like the original better. :)

Er Um sorry Walter but before I posted my notes above I not only read my songbook booklet but I also took the precaution of playing Songbook disc 1 and the version of TWIF on Songbook IS categorically the original from Lightfoot! NOT the rearranged version on the later album

I also note that according to the Canadian "The Original Lightfoot...The United Artists Years" 3-CD box set
TWIF on Lightfoot! runs 3:43 (compare with 3:42 above)
whereas the later version on the album "The Way I Feel" is much shorter at 3:02 and is presumably therefore at a significantly faster tempo as well as switching to Red Shea.
From the above unarguable reasons I rest my case

Robby Lake also said "No duh" but I cannot fathom out what he might be saying "No" aboot here I as I was not arguing aboot the accoustic properties at all

Quite frankly "B" life is too short to check oot every "Best Of" compilation but I would not be surprised to find the later TWIF on one or other of them. Nor have I checked the most recent "Classic Masters" which logically should be the same as on the 1967 Canadian Picture Sleeve Single

You know John,I play the "S." CD's a lot and I relly haven't read the lists on the box or the back of the cases in awhile. Not to mention,that since I have "UA Collection",I don't play Disc 1 as often. :redface:

I better get myself back up to speed on things,I get so busy with work and recently the holidays,I seem to have lost track.
