I was nine at the time and although I probably heard it, I can't say I remember it.

No I did not see that event you mentioned. It would be 1988 before I saw Gord perform in concert at Massey Hall for the first time. I am 31 now. I met Gord back in 1990 when he first came to Brantford but I didn't get a chance to see the band members back then.
