Though many of us have already obtained copies of the CD and bits and pieces have been leaking out through internet sources for weeks, how about we designate May 11th as a holiday? (Inter)National Welcome Back Gord Day! Sit Down Young Stranger, you've been gone too long...kickin' about! Let's all take the day off, open our windows at Noon EDT and crank up Harmony as loud as it'll go in honor of Gord!!! (Damn, and I've absolutely gotta work myself!)

I'm off today so that sounds good to me. It's 84 degrees, sunny with not a cloud in the sky! They were calling for T-storms but it doesn't look like it now. A holiday it is.

Uh hu. How about I give you my bosses number and you call him for me and explain the significance of the day? Somehow I don't think he's going to buy it.

Today's only the 10th! I thought it was the 11th. No wonder why other people are having a tougher time getting it today. I guess I should consider myself lucky that I got the CD today.

Yer right Watchman - today is the 10th. Most CD stores already have the releases for May 11th in the backroom and the online places have already shipped them. So folks, if you ask the clerk to mosey on into the backroom you most likely can take it home tonight.

May 11th has always been a day of celebration in our home. It's my husbands birthday, and guess what he's (we're!)getting! http://www.corfid.com/ubb/smile.gif Our favorite music store is putting it on the shelves at 11 pm tonight, and I'll be there.

The only thing significant about this date for me in the past is,it's the day I started a job at a now out of business grocery store here in Phoenix in 1991!:rollleyes: Wow.
