What do you think Gords rockiest and wildest songs are from each album? It seems as though every album has one song that sounds at least a little bit like a Rock n' Roll song.

If You Could Read My Mind-Baby It's Alright

Sundown-The List

Summertime Dream-I'd Do It Again

Waiting For You-Fading Away

A Painter Passing Through-Boathouse

Songbook-Keepin' On Yearnin'

Those are all the albums I have.

most of Salute is full of electric guitars and sounds pretty rocky. also around that time GL used to play electric guitars on stage during parts of the show. Canary yellow canoe is pretty rocky

also a song called two crazy kids (which is unreleased ) crank up the volume. there's a live version floating around on bootlegs though

Just to add to the list there is "Boss Man", "The Way I Feel"(2nd version) and "Endless Wire". Also alot of "Dream Street Rose", which I think maybe his heaviest album, musically. "My Little Love" rocks along quite nicely too!

I agree. I had a tough time deciding which rocked more, "My Little Love", or "Boathouse".

Don't forget about the often overlooked song which is one of my favorites, "Yonge Street".

On wild and upbeat, how come nobody has mentioned "Canary Yellow Canoe"?
