Anyone have any reviews to share of the December shows. Wayne's site already has the setlists for two of them. I know, you've got to travel home, etc. etc. but maybe we should think of laptops or handhelds, LOL. That way you could send reviews on your way home. Just an idea.

I know Char braved the snow and went to Orillia, but she has a luncheon to go to today, and said she probably wouldn't be able to write up anything until tonight or tomorrow. I'm sure it will be worth the wait!

No Jenney
I am with Bill on this one
Whilst it can be taken as read that when our Charwoman gets around to waxing lyrical aboot Orillia it will be a delight to read, the fact remains that two other concerts actually took place last week in Stratford Ontario (obviously they were not cancelled due to lack of ticket sales, inclement weather or what -have-you... as evidenced by Wayne having put up both concert's setlists... nice to see Make Way For The Lady back in rotation) surely somebody from here was at one or other of these two concerts and could write something (anything) in the way of a review of one a least of these two concerts

Bru and David U. were in Stratford for both shows and Orillia. Kenyon was in Stratford as well. Harold was in Orillia with his family.

The Gordon Lightfoot Auditorium in the Opera House in Orillia was a beautiful and charming venue...the hometown crowd was generally pretty quiet for the most part and the sound was low. Gord looked fine and healthy and once warmed up he was sounding great. He nailed IYCRMM and Alberta Bound and Rainy Day People. They were WOW!
He did Song For A Winter's Night which was appropos for a beautiful crisp clear winter night in Orillia. A freshly fallen snow was glistening under the white mini-lights in the trees outside the Opera House...it was delightful to say the least...
I will post a set list and a few more details later...
;)

I've yet to be hassled during a Lightfoot show, most digital cameras allow you to take them without the flash being used... if you must use a flash wait til near the end of the concert.
