WEll just thought I'd let you know I heard the original recording of the song for the first time today. Really sounds different from the GG remake.

Ultimately, I like the original better too but the version on Gords Gold has that beat added into it that always makes me want to dance :)

while there's certainly differences between all of the originals and re-recordings but he really modernized the remakes of ROD and W&W. I think the drum sounds in them did the trick.
