In 'Spanish Moss' I heard Gord singing about Georgia. I never knew he had sang about GA before until now. I wonder if he's ever bin here. I'm from Georgia, you know. http://www.corfid.com/ubb/smile.gif http://www.corfid.com/ubb/smile.gif

In,"Morning Glory",he mentions Biscayne Bay,which is off of Florida. He even mentions the south in "Cotton Jenny" but not a state. I'd like a song about Pennsylvania but the closest he's come there is mentioning Lake Erie in "Wreck". Have to do I guees. Later! http://www.corfid.com/ubb/cool.gif

Borderstone, rattle through (thru) your Lightfoot albums, and you will hear mention of 'Pitsburgh PA'

DMD: Yes, our man has been in Georgia on many occasions. The Civic Center and Fox Theatre in Atlanta were regular tour stops back in the 70s. Most recently, he appeared at the Savannah Civic Centre in March, 2001. If you'd like to see more about where he has toured in the past, visit Wayne Francis's site at: www.lightfoot.ca If you've never been to Wayne's site before, you'll discover a plethora of info on our man Gord.

S'Okay Ben. http://www.corfid.com/ubb/smile.gif I wish I could say I knew all of these songs and LP's like the back of my hand but I don't have that kind of time to attempt it. By the way,the back of my hand's the opposite of the palm...right? http://www.corfid.com/ubb/confused.gif http://www.corfid.com/ubb/wink.gif

Since there are mines in Pennsylvania, you could say that "Boss man" and "Mother of a Miner's Child" are set in Pennsylvania.
