John Fowles http://www.ebaylightfoot.shorturl.com I also spotted a confusingly titled LP on offer in another auction entitled "GORDON LIGHTFOOT ORIGINAL GERMAN SUMMERTIME OF LOVE LP" (sic) http://i4.ebayimg.com/05/i/06/13/55/a9_1.JPG Sure as hell fooled me!! Hi John! :) Well,I know I've never seen that 1st photo but I definetly have seen the second! ;)
The second photo, shoulders on up,can be seen in "The Billboard Book Of #1 Hits",which was first published in 1985. The photo is used for,"Sundown",Gordon's big #1 hit from June 22-28th,1974. (One out of 35 #1's in America that year! ) Unusual choice of picture, considering they could have just used the LP cover. Still, cool to see the whole shot, nice suit! Thanks for those John. :) Later! [ January 29, 2006, 14:44: Message edited by: Borderstone ] |
The top one looks like it was taken outside Massey, stage door area maybe?? And the bottom one - are those corduroy bell bottoms? With a peace sign slung around his neck? And it looks like a paisley print on the chair seat. Groovy!
