Here's a lovely piece on the late Peter Jennings. Is it me or does he seem to share a number of characteristics with Gord?

He did seem to have an easy going style but was natuarlly very serious when it came to world news. I did not watch him on a regular basis but I liked how he got things across without becoming "bigger than his audience".

Here in LA we saw a fine, uninterrupted tribute on ABC, done w/ just the upfront class of Peter.

Was anything done in Canada of such a nature of tribute? Both Mama & I would dearly love to hear of it.

Passion is passion, be it Peter's reporting, Gord's singing, or our receiving.
