Erica Ehm & J.D. Roberts. Two Much music VJ's of the 80's.


Im sure most Canadians know that John Roberts, from CNN, and previously CBS News, is the J.D. Roberts we all got to know on Canada's music station in the 80's, Much Music.

But I was wondering if you fine Corfidians from other Countries new that. When Much Music launched in the mid 80's, he was, the popular young, VJ, J.D. Roberts...

I remember him from CITY-TV in Toronto. Good personality and well-spoken.

TORONTO - Canadian John Roberts and his CNN colleage Kyra Phillips are expecting twins.

The 53-year-old Roberts and Phillips, 42, got engaged in April.

Their twins are due this spring, according to a representative from CNN.

Roberts grew up in Mississauga, Ont., and is perhaps best known as one of the first MuchMusic VJs and for co-hosting the now-defunct TV series "The NewMusic" and "The Power Hour."

He now co-anchors CNN's "American Morning," while Phillips is a weekday anchor on "CNN Newsroom."
