I have a screen saver of a shot taken from the Hubble. It looks similar to the top picture.

I change it every basketball season, though... to the Celtics ... I guess I'm a dedicated Celtics fan, in spite of the fact that they haven't won a championship since the Larry Bird era. :(

That's very interesting Cathy. Do you have Google Earth Downloaded? There you can see the entire Planet Earth, including where you live.

But like John Fowles told me, Local Live, has greater images of you neighbour hood. You can tell your place pretty good, but it's not much for here in Canada.

The other night I saw John's house, pretty good on Local Live. Also on Google Earth but only the top, and also on Googles, my place and many other things. CN Tower. My niece place in Montreal, {ASO.}

You dont need to download, Local Live.

Jesse, do you have Starry Night Astronomy software? I have the "starter" version but its still a lot of fun. I bet you'd like it a lot.
