Thanks for the clip John. That is a CLASSIC!! I would love to know who did the singing... his impression of Gord was pretty "spot on". I've heard about (but haven't seen) the Muppets' take-off on Gord, where he's called "Gordon Brightfoot". Has anyone seen it?

Rick Moranis is the singer on that clip. He was great w/voices. Also did a great Merv Griffin, and many others. All the cast of SCTV were fantastic. I have nearly every episode they made on tape.

Thanks Jesse! I agree... Rick Moranis is a genius with voices, as is Dave Thomas. I loved SCTV and watched it all the time, but I missed "Lightfoot sings every song ever written". I especially loved the McKenzie Brothers. While we (me, Kerstin and DSR) were in Nashville, Louisville, and Indianapolis, I attempted to do my (bad) impression of the McKenzie Brothers, but nobody knew who they were, eh?
