Barbara Streisand / If You Could Read My Mind.

Re: Barbara Streisand / If You Could Read My Mind.
Why can't we put together a video like this for Gord? With Gord singing his "I'll Tag Along", or his favorite song of his music? I can contribute 1 picture from Louisville last fall, ha!
I am serious! What is we have CHar or Dream Street Rose present it to him at the end of the road for concerts this 2008 season? Or what about a medley of his greatest and pictures from his life? We could never decide on what his greatest are, so, what if CHar has another CHat with the man and asks some direct questions? |

A great idea Gwen. I am intending probably as Project number 999 of a series of millions to teach myself how to make a video comprising images to accompany a music track. I have millions of GL jpgs stored all over the place enough for a very long video, alternatively that gifted creator from near Niagra might be persuaded to do something certainly one of his "vidstories" based on I'll Tag Along is way overdue .So what about it young Tom??? while we are waiting Any of you who might like to combine hearing IYCRMM by "Jack Sparrow", who he?? (Jack Sparrow is a fictional character from the Pirates of the Caribbean universe who is portrayed by Johnny Depp) whilst watching scenes from the film might like to see this video montage or the original disco version on the syndicated television show "Solid Gold" at:- (Pity the lip-sync is unsynchronised though) Two comments there are:- "After Gordon Lightfoot's original, hers is the next best version so far. Sinatra COULD have done THE best version of it, but he never really understood it and gave up on it" "Hey- at 50 I remember both versions....of course GL's is the one- but Miss Viola took it to a fabulous Disco place...why not enjoy both(plus the later Beyonce version), after all those are some of the best pop lyrics of all time.....Just sayin" Has anybody heard Beyonce's version?? This video is complete with a short appearance by ther series' main presenter Dionne War-Wick who apparently introduced her co-host Mr Cliff Richard Wake up Bill Hall there is a Dionne/Cliff duet from this Solid Gold show at:- I did some googling, as is my want and found Co- Host Cliff Richard Episode Number: 18 Season Num: 1 First Aired: Saturday January 24, 1981 Dionne & Cliff welcome Andy Gibb,Rick Nelson, The Captain & Tenille, Viola Mills & Con Funk Shun Viola Wills opens the show with "If you could read my mind". Performances by Andy Gibb (Time is Time) & Con Funk Shun (Too Tight). Dionne sings "You've lost that Lovin Feelin". Cliff performs "A little in Love" plus Suddenly in a duet with Dionne. The Captain & Tennille make an appearance with "Do that to me one more time". Rick Nelson does "It Hasn't happened yet". Comedy from Jay Johnson. or try Fusion who seem to feature a Mama Cass lookalike according to another Fusion youtube video Fusion , Life Is a Highway Lead Vocal is Kevin Backup is Karyn , Missy and Jessica so perhaps that is Mama Karyn , Missy or Jessica!!! Tbat was actually uploaded by Jessi199o, so it just might be Omer in drag!! the "other" disco version from Starz on 54 is at Huge soundtrack for the Studio 54 movie in 1998 with the artists Amber, Ultra Nate & Jocelyn Enriquez comments there include these two:- "love the song but i dont like that they didnt use all of the lyrics.....cause the actuall lyrics are so awsome it would have been cool if they used the original lyrics with that beat......" "This song could be played in a cathedral or on a penny whistle and it would always KNOCK YOU OUT! It's sheer INSPIRATION" Amen "Sir" John Fowles Bt |
