9/20/08 GL in Northampton MA
 

Hi Folks.

It seems that the only time I ever pop in here is when I'm planning to attend a GL concert. Well... here I am! I received an email announcing a GL concert at the Calvin Theatre in Northampton, MA on 9/20/08. "Tickets are on sale NOW to IHEG e-mail list subscribers only." I can't say for sure that I'll be able to make the concert, but I had to grab decent seats while I had the opportunity. The 1st 3 rows were already taken, so I bought 4 seats in the center of the 4th row.

A few seats are left (at the moment) in rows 5 & 6 in the center section & the balcony is almost entirely available.

I registered on the mailing list for the passcode as soon as the show was announced. I have yet to recieve an email and I've been waiting all morning. When I called the box office, the person I spoke to was of no help and I found him to be rude. I've never had that happen to me before when trying to by tickets and I'm upset by this.

The only explanation he gave me to as why I have yet to receive notification, is that the email announcement is sent at different times as to not overload the system and that this is done randomly.

I'm very dissapointed to have spent time for nothing so far and maybe only a chance for balcony seats by the time I get the passcode.

ok I just got the email and bought 2 tix Orchestra EE right...one for me and one for Kathy#1 :) if she can make it!

I'm looking forward to going to Wiggins Tavern before or after the show if anyone would like to come. Last I was there was in 1985?...our theater group frequented Wiggins when we were among the 1st to perform at the then newly renovated Northampton Arts Center.

oooh I wonder if the fair will be going on around that time too. I haven't gone to that in years and loved the horse races :)

Those must be good seats podunklander, really happy for you. How many Kathys do we have ? Cathy Cowett, and then Kathy #1,#2,#3 and #4 ???? :)

Guess I'm not going to that one. I signed up for their list long ago, and got emails in previous years, but apparently they lost me. Great. That was one I did want to go to.

there's the wonderful catrinka (Cathy) and I was referring to Kathy #4 as #1 :) though the #1 can also be attached to catrinka!!!
