Dewey Martin passed away

I did not know this musician except for his music in the group "Buffalo Springfield," which had great songs back in the mid-late-1960's. Which role did he play? Buffalo was so rich in talent such as Richie Furay, Steven Stillls and the great Neil Young.

Yes, Dewey was the drummer for The Buffalo Springfield and was one of the few members to stay with the band from it's inception to it's demise. Dewey also did some session work for the Monkees. He was born in Chesterville Ontario Canada but spent much of his life in the U.S., even with a stint in the U.S. Army. Died in Van Nuys California at age 68 of unspecified causes.
Sad. More and more of the people who defined my generation heading off to jam in 'that big gig in the sky'...
