Does/has Gord ever done a prison concert?

Like Johnny Cash did in Folsom and St. Quentin, has Gordon ever done a concert for prisoners? I've heard there are bands that go to prisons to perform, you just don't ever hear about it...

Almost certain he never did.

A quick glance at Wayne Francis' site has Gord doing benefit performances for various causes including Flood Relief, The Sick Kids Hospital, & environmental issues. People tend to give back in areas that they care about.

Early in the 70's I was privileged to see Leonard Cohen give a very moving performance to a very small audience at a psychiatric hospital in Montreal where I did volunteer work. I was touched by how sincerely he tried to reach each person and also that he did it without any glory from the media.

It made me realize that we often don't know what our idols do when they are out of the spot light.
