This is a fantastic find Char.
Also it includes part of the sixties that I can actually remember.

The musical shows they had on TV in those days were true gems and the entertainers who made them work were just bubbling with talent.

It sure was a great era to have lived through and to see what Gordon Lightfoot has accomplished since those days confirms just how dedicated he was to becoming the true professional he is today.

I guess we can assume that he's much more comfortable entertaining an audience as a singer/songwriter than as a dancer.

I always say that I became a musician only because I had such a fear of dancing.

Sure is great to know that the CBC still has stuff like this available.

I wouldn't have any idea how to put this up there so thanks Char for the great work you do here for us.

Then again ... I shudder at what's called entertainment these days. I cancelled my cable some time ago as TV has become unwatchable.

T.G. - true-so true...lots of total crap out there...but there's other options to watch today...
Back when Country Hoedown was on it was the ONLY thing we could watch on CBC...that and the French CBC station..lol
