The Gord Goal
 

My latest life goal is to get the the USA this summer, I have never been! I also seriously want to see Gord live on stage, so, hopefully six years after buying my first Lightfoot album the stars will align and Gord will perfrom in NYC or somewhere logistically convenient in the summer.

I was so impressed with the strength of his singing on the Q I'll Tag Along video that I decided I have to modify the general crossing the Atlantic goal to include Gord.

Of course, it would be nice to see him on home turf in Canada either...

Well I think that's a fabulous decision! Wherever you see him in 2013 will be amazing...tag along you'll be glad you did!

As all of us can tell you every Lightfoot concert is memorable. Yet each of us has a least one that is more special than the others. Out of the Dozen or so I have attended probably the two most memorable ones where the first time I met Gordon in 2001 and Sept 2011 when Gord dedicated "Beautiful" to my wife and I three weeks after our wedding .

Been thinking about this lately myself, next year's out of the question but maybe 2014...I am, of course, assuming, that a sudden (final?) return to the UK is out of the question for Gord?

there'll be no trips overseas for Lightfoot and the band.. No Massey or Canadian dates planned for 2013.
