Two songs that seems popular today
 

My son was singing a song called Trouble (I Should have know.... by Taylor Swift?) and another called If You Want it Come and Get It (Selena Gomes?)

so I played him two old songs that seemed to possible have their chorus catch phrases "borrowed" and he said he loved the old ones WAY better...remember these?

quite similar....so if anyone has writer's block, try sift through some old catch chorus and reshape them with phrasing, notes, chord progressions, rhythms, production, etc
