Well, if it's 1979, then, yes, it would be right before DSR release. But it certainly has an "Endless Wire" sound to it. I wonder if it might have been initially discussed for EW but then postponed and reconsidered for DSR? Who knows. (well, one person does!) But, in my opinion, it fits EW much more so than DSR.
