Gord- Injured or Ill (Edmonton 10/27/2022)
 

I saw some You Tube videos of the Oct. 27 show in Edmonton. It looks like Gord sat on a bench throughout his performance. Does anyone have further information if Gord is ill or hurt?

In Calgary he was affected by the altitude...age, COPD, travel, altitude, health issues including vertigo played a part in his decision to sit in Calgary and Edmonton..

This is my video of Gordon in 2019, opening song, Waiting for you. In this concert Gordon stopped singing, 4 times, as this incident in the song was the scariest, as you thought he was dying from a heart attack. He was done in a chair for 5 minutes, head in his hands, as the place got stone quiet. He got some Oxygen for his wife, and got back to where he left off, did not miss a beat. I edited that part out, as at the 1:43 mark, he is looking at me, it seems, gasping for air, you can see it in his neck. I believe his smoking is the cause of his troubles, emphysema.
