I e-mailed Borderstone's parody to my brother and got back the following:

Did you write one?? I figure you must be working on one. How about

'if you could bleed my line' (mechanics)

or

'if you could leave by nine' (overworked employees)

or

'if you could heave dry wine' (drunkards)?

Let me know.----------

No, I haven't written one, but can anyone take his suggestions and run with them?
