For those of you who didn't make it to the recent "Lighthead" reunion in Saratoga Springs, we are all sharing photos and music. Our own Cathy has a web site and I am starting to post new material from April. If you haven't visited her web site before, I urge you to do so now. You'll find many mp3s of her, and some with Derek Kidd, one of the other members of The Lightfoot Tribute Band. Most of the recordings are Lightfoot songs; might as well use the best material out there.
I have just posted two April recordings on Cathy's web site. Both are Song For
A Winter's Night, one from a concert (Friday, 4/25) and the other solo,
on the Sunday before. Each are a first pass mix, done quickly, and we'll
be redoing them based on any changes Cathy wants. We will want to try
bringing up the room mics, so you can hear the bells (thanks again to
Melissa), and there may be a bit too much reverb in the solo recording,
but those are the things we can play with. We will be adding more
recordings from the concerts when we get more songs individually mixed.
