oh dear - I wish I could help but have no idea about that stuff..
If the original recording was done like that I think you may have to take it to a sound studio sort of place for them to run it thru a machine to slow it down as it re-records it at a more normal speed...
Lisa is getting a digital recorder this weekend to record her classes...it has a fast forward and slow function that doesn't distort the voices..
I will ask the tech guy at the college if he knows how to fix your problem...I'll e-mail him..
