Well I found out that her real name was Vicky Lynn Hogan,so just like Marilyn M. another lost fame seeking young woman made to change her name, except in this case Anna most likely really did not have a full idea of her true self & identity.

Also,I watched The Insider last night and it was obviously taped before she passed on. The big story of Anna yesterday (before this one) in their "Ongoing Anna Investigation"
was about who's the real father of her 5 month old?

Supposedly it's some guy named Larry Burkhead, well Larry,if she's your daughter, take the big step now that needs to be taken and stop denying it. This girl needs a parent!

Anyhow, now,in regards to Frankie Laine he lived up into his 90s and deservedly so. I saw him last year on PBS,with a special hosted by Pat Boone. At age 92/93 Frankie came out of retirement to sing one of his classics.
I had been wondering at that time if he was still around.

Jim it's really not fair at a time like this to look down on Anna just because she didn't have as clear a view of living as Mr. Laine possibly did.
Mr. Laine was human and so was Anna, even if she seemed like she sometimes didn't know what "being human" meant.

If she she didn't know, she certainly got an avalanche of examples in the last days of her life. She,like most famous people, had the big step up and then the other shoe drops big and heavier.

Frankie Laine was fortunate enough to be famous in the more traditional sense. He was by the way the man who originally wrote & recorded Elvis's concert staple,"You Gave Me A Mountain". Sorry to say I haven't heard much of his music but I do know he was a man worth respecting, much like Gordon is.

Frankie is now on the biggest mountain of them all. Rest in peace.
