I'm happy to say that I have never ever smoked a cigarette/cigar/joint or anything involving puting junk into my lungs in my life!
I grew up in a household of smokers:
My Mother
my Dad
my Grandmother
my two brothers (one quit in '89)
My uncles & aunts (all gone now).
The many visitors of my parents & Grandmother.
So,needless to say,I had no way (except going outside when possible) to escape being around smoke growing up. I find it amazing that I have no breathing problems or anything else associated with smoking.
My father smoked starting at age 11 when another boy offered him one.
1 to packs a day later on and he basically never stopped until far too late.
By 2000,his lungs were almost non-existant,his wind pipe was slowly shutting down and on Aug. 17 of that year he was gone just 43 days before his 62nd birthday.
I may be a touch oveweight but that's somewhat better than smoking, being a heavy drinker or drug abuser. In fact,I didn't have any alcohol until Oct. 1996. I only drink white wine and on special occaision only.
