Sadly, I could not find any articles about Gord or even a short acknowledgment of his birthday in any of the major Toronto or surrounding area newspapers. Even the
Orillia Packet & Times ignored hometown son Gord over an article on Celine Dion. Only the CBC mentioned Gord by referring readers to it's archives.
How sad that we tend to ignore our own........
