Well thank you so kindly Char. You are my greatest fan for sure. This year though Ron isn't in the nomination as his recording came out in February/06 and the deadline for this year's awards ran from July, 1st/06 to June 30th/07. Last year though he was nominated in two categories, that being "Best Contemporary Singer" and "Best Songwriter." He is included as a featured performer this year and those lucky enough to be in attendance are in for a real treat. Wish I could make it. An up and coming and very talented guitarist and colleague of mine is up for "The Best Instrumentalist" award this year. His name is Les Finnigan. Les writes all his own music and he's a great guy to work and hang out with. His wife, Valeria, a talented artist as well did the cover art work on his "Steel String Portraits" CD.
