Feist's album wins shortlist music prize

Feist's album The Reminder has won the 7th Annual Shortlist Music Prize.
"(The Reminder is) album of the year for 2007 or any year I can think of: it's modern and classic all at once," prize judge and Snow Patrol bandmember Gary Lightbody said. "There are so many kinds of beauty in this record."
The 1234 singer, who beat out bands like Arcade Fire, LCD Soundsystem, MIA, and Wilco, is the first Canadian to win the accolade
