Default Re: Billy Joel--Just the Way He Is

I have all the important Billy Joel albums to be sure and it's Billy I have to thank for still being on this earth.

His 1985 hit "You're Only Human" (from Greatest Hits) and it's accompanying video, completly changed my mind about "leaving life behind".

In the video a young teen boy is having a bad week, everything's going wrong in his life and he feels like a screw up.
The boy's about to jump off a bridge but,in an "it's A Wonderful Life" moment,Billy appears as a guardian angel sent to show the boy what his suicide would mean if he suceeded.

There were many scenario's but the one that sold me was when the police come to his mother's door and tell her the bad news. Her reaction made me think of my mom and how she's feel. I decided life (and even high school) wasn't "that" bad.

Thanks Billy!!
