My wife and I went to the San Antonio show Thursday night. The audience response was great. I'm always a little nervous going to see him perform where he hasn't been for a long time ( I think he mentioned 1991 being the last time), but I soon realize that he is loved wherever he goes. There was also a good article the next day in the San Antonio Express. Very complimentary. Anyway, we were very glad that we went. We have been known to take vacations planned around Lightfoot concerts. We went to Cerritos, CA. a few years back, and then to Toronto a couple of years ago to see him at Massey Hall. Our friends and kids think we are way out in left field, but we carry on.
I know alot of folks on this site have probably seen him as much, or more than we have. But to anyone who hasn't been for a while, you won't be disappointed. It never gets old.
