I have to confess to never having heard of Jerry Reed before.
So I played another youtube video:-

An unusual video that very nicely encompasses one singer's career and disc output.
JJ if you watch it it should give you ideas for a similar tribute video for Gord, with one song per album . I challenge you to do create it!!
After which I was a bit wiser although I have to say that not one of the featured songs rang any sort of bell.
After I started drafting this I found that Jerry wrote:-
"A Thing called Love"

which of course I do know from the Johnny Cash recording

I also looked at another youtube offering built around Elvis' rendition of that song
