The first film that I can recall seeing him in was Blazing Saddles. I nearly busted a seam from LMAO

! The only Mel Brooks film that I liked but wasn't real fond of was Robin Hood: Men In Tights. I think it was because I expected him to just as hilarious in it as he was in B lazing Saddles. One thing that he did leave behind are some equally talented sons, one of whom I first saw in Encino Man, and then another one of them I saw in an early episode of CSI: New York. Add to it that the man was a chef, if I'm not mistaken. He was someone who was wonderfully diverse & very funny.
