My Mom adores Colin Firth - I think she would watch the whole thing just for him. I saw Crazy Heart also and loved Jeff Bridges' performance. I had some problems with the movie itself (didn't like the ending/Mom leaving her child with alcoholic after knowing him only a few days???) but Jeff Bridges more than made up for that. I liked the music too - found myself humming the songs the next day.
