Happy Canada Day, all!

My husband declared his independence this afternoon by mailing in his retirement papers. Hopefully he will be accepted for the early retirement program our state is offering because he has about had it at work and is more than ready to hang up his hammer and caulk gun and drill. If not he's got about 17 months to go but he meets all the requirements and isnot classed as essential personnel so, with any luck, September 22nd will be his last work day. Woo hoo!!
