While I'm thinking about it, recently our local PBS station was running a membership drive, and one of the pprogrammes they were showing was a documentary on Marty Robbins. They played a clip of him singing Ribbon Of Darkness & mentioned how Gord wrote the song for him, but didn't record the song on any album of his own until a year after Robbins. Just thought you'd want to know.
