I really don't understand why you would want to admit that Mr Touhy
Like anything else if you don't know you can always ask Mr Google to see what he can find on the interent or elsewhere come to that !!
Doing so myself led me to her "wiki" @
http://http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Madeline_Bell
where I read that she was born in Newark NJ, a hefty stone's throw from where I now am but she ended up in the UK with a musical. Also in the wiki was something that confirmed what I thought
"
She worked as a session singer, most notably backing for Dusty Springfield (a.k.a.,Rusty Springbox)....
(she was one of I think three young sweet voiced chanteuses who provided backing vocals for scores of "hot" hit records; another was one of my favourites Lesley Duncan who sadly passed away last year)
...Madeline then joined contemporary pop combo Blue Mink, with whom she had a number of Top 20 hits with Philip Records in the UK, including "Melting Pot",
Great hearing that again after many years thank you for the reminder Touhy
"turn out coffee coloured people by the score"
Now there is a profound thought!!
