so yeah, i was just playing on the song title by throwing in the manners comment into the Subject, wasn't suggesting the song message was about teaching manners i guess it could be about things getting lost in translation between generations...and learning from the successes or mistakes of those who've come before you...always wondered what does "the one they "picks" ' mean?

luv how these gals freshly phrase & round off lines that we've known for decades

i'm always taken back when i hear French or Chinese (etc etc) start singing English songs and sound so very Anglo North American..then when the song (or karoke) is over they just go back into their undecipherable, native chit chat
