OK Gord certainly mentioned "Massey beginning in 1965" and the captions to the video clearly promised a lot more than the interview actually delivered:-
"Gordon Lightfoot tells Canada AM about his plans to perform new songs"
"The 73-year-old music icon talks about his plans to perform a new set of songs at his home-away-from-home, Massey Hall, next month"
that is but two of a few misleading statements or impressions caused by this interview
To the best of my hearing ability I do believe that Marci never actually heard Gord tell of any plans for a "new set of songs" but we can hope! Maybe Go Go Round will finally make it ?!
Gord's "1965" attribution and the Massey footage is misleading because the rear shot of Gord John and Red whilst presumably on the Massey stage

is accompanied by the soundtrack of CRT which was possibly not written until 1966 when per Wayne's chronology for 1966:-
"
Lightfoot is commissioned by the CBC to write a song about the building of the Canadian railway for Canada's centennial. The result is of course, Canadian Railroad Trilogy".
and 1967 "On New Year's day, Lightfoot debuts the Trilogy across the country on the CBC-TV special, 100 Years Young.
also
"In March, Lightfoot plays two sold-out concerts at Massey Hall."
Note that Wayne does not record any GL adult Massey concerts prior to those in 1967
Anybody know how to save a copy of the video??
(unlike the most useful and useable saving of YouTube videos in a temporary internet folder this one failed to be so saved on my hard drive)
