It's also been 40 years since I first heard the song on WCCK out of Erie when
I was 5 or 6. (Depends on if i heard it before my birthday on June 13th or after.)
The week of June 22nd - 28th ,1974 was when the song hit #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and actually,the week of my birthday that year,it hit #1 on The Adult Contemporary chart,which for me is good enough.
I wish more people knew about this timeless album,as well as Gordon;s other great albums as well. Have a good one guys,I got a date for my 46th tomorrow! Woooooooh,B!
