Stationmaster,it's no surprise to me that you heard "Carfree Highway" on the radio the other day. Along with Sundown the LP and single,it's also been 30 years since that song was a top 10 hit. Both in Canada and the U.S. (#10 Oct./Nov. '74).

I was in a wreck with my dad either winter '75/'76 or '74/'75 when he was driving us into Erie,PA. We hit some bad slush on the road and skidded of the road!

Thankfully,I fell under the dashboard and not through the windshield! (Yep,no seatbelt!)

My mother sure gave him heck for that! (To put it cleanly.)

Talk about "10 degrees and getting colder"! Brrrrr!
