Yes, Iron, that would be me. I'm the one in the tribute band, along with Ed Mullen, Derek Kidd and Matt Carl. We did two shows in April, one Lightfoot tribute show, and a favorite singer/songwriter show, where we sang the songs of several artists. That turned into an old time sing-along and was a lot of fun.
WinAmp is the software I use on my PC to listen to mp3s and CDs. Most computers come with Windows Media Player, but I prefer either WinAmp Or Musicmatch Jukebox. You can download WinAmp from
http://www.winamp.com
WinAmp does have a nice pluggin that allows you to slow a song down without changing the pitch, but to tell you the truth, I never use it. I suppose it's good if you're trying to learn a difficult guitar part.
Oh, yeah, I've visited the lyrics and chords section of Wayne's site many times. It's really a great resource.
We've posted a few of the songs that we did at Caffe Lena on my website at
http://www.cathycowette.com and will probably be adding a few more once they are mixed.
I believe Ed Mullen has posted some on his site, too, at
http://www.edmullen.net
Ed also has a bunch of pictures posted.
