I was down in Cornwall, on the s-w coast
of England last summer and was rummaging in a junk shop - dusty books and things - when suddenly I heard a familiar sound. Considering this is the UK where we are sadly in neglect of Lightfoot music, I
jumped up, scaring the life out of an old gentleman standing close to me. 'Sundown' was coming from the radio in the shoeshop next door! But it wasnt Gord. It was some rap version. But it was a Gordon Lightfoot song. That's about the weirdest place I have ever heard my hero or his music.
