Gitargrl, I dig strolling thru a Walmart or Target here in Michigan where they usually play soft rock stations overhead. Once in a while I catch Gordon's voice wafting down around my ears while I'm looking at underwear or toys for my 2yr old son, Grant. My first response is to look up, searching for the closest speaker 30 feet above on the ceiling. Then I race over in between the aisles to shield out other noises and stand there under the speaker. People must go by thinking I'm a little 'out there,' not looking at anything in particular and periodically staring at the ceiling. I wonder what the chance is that someone observed this behavior, paused long enough to acknowledge that Gordon was singing from above and also stood there to absorb a little tranquility amongst the underwear and socks?
