Yes, Shadow, I can relate. One of the grocery stores I frequent has somebody in charge of the music that I strongly suspect is a fan, too. I've never been in any public place that played so much Lightfoot regularly! The pet food aisle is the best place in that store...least noisy with a speaker directly overhead. I may have to get a dog to justify the time I spend there! I did get "discovered" there by one of the managers one day. He was going down the aisle to the back of the store and as he passed me with a knowing smile he said, "Great, isn't he?" I was way too embarrassed to respond.
