Note here this not Richler's son,on the photo, it is a DJ from Chum radio Station.

Mordecai Richler's son,{Daniel?} I forget his name. Maybe someone will spell it out correctly here. Was interviewing Gordon for, The Journal,1987.

And at the end of the interview he said to the minstrel, in the music scene here in Canada, your the thing now, youve been accepted, as Pierre Berton the poet. I know this may sound a bit prematured here, but how would you like to be remembered? (both laughing) Gordon replied, "You know I come from a very small town, small town up bringing, small town mentality, and I dont thing about these things. I just go out there and do the job to the best of my ability, and carry on.
And whatever will be said later, will be said be it good or be it bad, or both."
