Well All Right
I hadfully intended shortly to resurrect a great seasonal topic from last year then was somewhat surprised today to see this slightly older topic that I had forgotten about resurrected albeit a tad early for the festive season which is fine but maybe I am the only one here whose memory is good enough to remember the classic "spoof" album topic??
This started with a simple topic "question" by member jan96 back in December 2004 who enquired:-
"I heard a Christmas song by Gordon Lightfoot this week.
I don't know the name of it, but would love to have it..
Does anyone know of this song?" at:-
http://www.corfid.com/ubb/Forum1/HTML/002814.html
which inspired another long time absentee poster and general "loony" young Jonesey from Tronno to ask:-
"could it be something off of this compilation?"

the topic grew steadily in merriment and cleverness but several of the original display pictures were linked to the "upload" site of the day (imageshack.us) where they expired a long time ago so go to Page2 at:-
http://www.corfid.com/ubb/Forum1/HTML/002814-2.html
where on December the 4th after uploading the first four to my own site for permanent storage I displayed them again
When this had became a hilarious collection of spoof albums by Gord that was taking too long to load I started a new Topic: Gordon's Christmas Box Set... continued at:-
http://www.corfid.com/ubb/ultimatebb...=002847#000000
during the currency of which JJ got Sheryl's knickers in a twist when he nicknamed her "SpecialK"
and additional Christmas ditties were proposed by Borderstone such as:-
"If You Could Wreath My Pine (Door)"
and that classic of classics,"The Ring Of The Elf Fun Sliegh(sic) Bell Run"
I am still working on a necessary front CD insert for Jimmy's "duets" volume two (featuring Cathy's all-time favo(u)rite chanteuse (Celine Dion) and my own proposed "Japanese" album and when done I intend spoofing the original songbook box set box artwork and will then write a fully comprehensive web page on my site and start a new topic to link to my page.
